LEGS is a performance art relay launched by PANCH in collaboration with Translocal Performance Art Giswil. The relays are short performances that are performed one after the other without a break. LEGS will take place in the context of «Circling In May», a PANCH initiated week around performance art.

In Modern Greek, the moon bears two names. «i selini» refers to the moon as a body, a planet, a place with presence while «to feggári» describes its glow: the moon as a surface of projection that reflects the light of the sun. With the title «From Moon to Moon», the 25th edition of Translocal Performance Art Giswil points to what unfolds between body and projection in performance, and what may remain hidden from the naked eye. This year’s focus lies on Greece, in particular Athens, the country’s capital and cultural centre. The program brings together artistic practices that engage with the communal, with domestic roles, and with cult and ritual.
