Mit der 23. Ausgabe des Festivals und dem Titel «La Suite» gehen wir auf vertrauten Wegen einen nächsten Schritt. Was bringt die Performance weiter? Wie können diese ephemeren Kunstwerke Bestand haben? Welche Impulse und Energien halten sie lebendig? Mit «La Suite» thematisieren wir einmalige und performative Ansätze der Wiederaufführung. Einerseits ist dies die Beschäftigung mit Arbeiten einer älteren Generation von wegweisenden Performancekünstler:innen, Arbeiten, die sie selbst gerne und wiederholt aufführen und in ihre jeweilige körperliche Verfasstheit übersetzen. Andererseits laden wir Künstler:innen ein, sich bestehenden Performances anzunähern und sie als Wiederaufführung aufleben zu lassen.
